H.E. PM Dr. Haider Al-Abadi received today a phone call from the President of France H.E. Francois Hollande.

H.E. the French President expressed his condolences to the government and people of Iraq on the terrorist explosions which targeted a crowded market in Jemeela district and expressed the solidarity of France with Iraq in this tribulation.

Mr. Holland referred to the distinguished efforts exerted by Iraq in the fight against terrorism, referring that France is a part of the global coalition against Da'esh. Mr. Holland also welcomed the reforms taken by H.E. the PM.

On his part, Dr. Al-Abadi thanked the French President for his condolences on the terrorist attack in Jameela district referring that "we should all cooperate to defeat terrorism; the heroes of our security forces are achieving victories on battlefields and we are determined to liberate every inch of Iraq".
