Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi received in his office on Saturday a delegation from the US Institute of Peace, headed by Chairman of the Board Stephen Hadley, and president and CEO Nancy Lindborg.

During the meeting the current situation in the country was discussed, and the challenges faced by the various sectors, and the project for community reconciliation, and the return of displaced families to their areas that have been freed from the terrorist gangs.

Dr. Abadi stated that providing security, peace and prosperity for the citizens are the duties that we are working hard to provide in addition to the imposition of state control.

In turn the delegation hailed the government's efforts to restore citizens to their liberate areas, expressing their wish to communicate with the government for the completion of several projects in various fields.
