In the Name of Allah the most Gracious the most Merciful

In such days after the fall of the cherished city of Mosul at the hands of Da'esh and the tragedies which followed this incident including the massacre of Spiker and the killing and displacement of thousands of its people and the people in the surrounding areas, the Supreme Marji'iya represented by Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Al-Sistani declared the historical Fatwa of Sufficient Jihad in which His Eminence called for Iraqis to volunteer to defend Iraq, its people and sanctities. This Fatwa has been issued on its time and came to express an accurate and responsible vision and a diagnosis to the nature of the situation and its danger after the aftermath of the fall of Mosul. It saved the country from a black plan, through which, this criminal gang tried to implement in Iraq and the region.
The Fatwa of Grand Ayatollah Al-Sistani saved Iraq and the region when it stopped the expansion of Da'esh and undermined its black dream..it formed a real turning point in the confrontation and restored the initiative to be for the interest of Iraq and its people in addition to achieving subsequent victories and liberating many occupied areas.
The great response of our brave people to this Fatwa who have immediately reacted, old and young, to defend their country should be written with golden letters. The public mobilization has been formed from all components of Iraqi people and it became a support to the Iraqi army and security forces against terrorism..it became an official commission and part of the defensive system and the armed forces which fulfilled the greatest victories and offered precious sacrifices. Thus, greeting be to them and to the martyrs, injured and their families. .
On behalf of myself and the Iraqi people, I would like to express my deep gratitude and high appreciation to the honored Supreme Marji'iya represented by His Eminence Sayyed Al-Sistani and to the Iraqi people who defended their country and sanctities, and we ask Al-Mighty to bless us with power and determination to liberate all the occupied areas and return the displaced to their homes. Praise be to Allah the Lord of the Worlds.
