Prime Minister, Dr. Haider al-Abadi chaired on Monday meeting of the National Program for Disaster Reduction and Emergency Management.
His Excellency confirmed that the disaster issue must be put through lucid strategy, policy and procedures to reduce risks caused by disasters and spare citizens adverse implications.
The Prime Minister highlighted review of the draft law in this regard and instructed that a survey to be made by main stakeholders in order to subject activities entailed by emergency management to a clear professional operation utilizing International expertise therein.
