H.E. PM Dr. Haider Al-Abadi received Mr. Akhiko Tanaka the President of Japan International Cooperation Agency JICA and the accompanying delegation.
The meeting discussed the projects implemented by the agency and its future plans in addition to the role of Japan in supporting Iraq in different fields.
Dr. Al-Abadi welcomed the delegation and commended the role of the agency in supporting Iraq through its projects in the service sector and the programs of building the capacity of Iraqi human recourses.
On his part the guest delegation overviewed the implemented projects in a number of provinces asserting the agency's commitment to support Iraq in its war against Da'esh through their participation in rebuilding the liberated areas.
