The Council of Ministers has approved the draft 2015 federal budget law and will be submitted to the Council of Representatives following a final review by a committee chaired by Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi that includes Deputy Prime Minister Bahaa Al-Araji and the ministers offinance, planning, higher education and transportation. The committee will review some aspects of the bill to ensure that it is sound from a legal point of view.
