H.E. Iraqi PM Dr. Haider Al-Abadi received in his office today the High Representative of EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Mrs. Federica Mogherini. During this meeting H.E. Dr. Al-Abadi said: "what we achieved in the political and security fields in the last three months is more than what we planned for...our policy is to arm the tribes who fight on ground". H.E. also mentioned that the government is pursuing those who make use of the current security situation to commit crimes against people.  

On her part, Mrs Mogherini congratulated Dr. Al-Abadi for the successes achieved in the security and political fields. She also expressed the readiness of the EU to provide all kinds of support to Iraq to defeat terrorism.
