H.E. Iraqi PM Dr. Al-Abadi met today with the Prince of Kuwait H.H. Sheikh Subah Al-Ahmad Al-Subah.
During this meeting, the two sides discussed promoting bilateral relations between the two countries in addition to the threat posed by Daesh and other terrorist organizations on Iraq and the region.
Dr. Al-Abadi mentioned that Iraq seeks to build distinguished relations regionally and internationally based on mutual cooperation, respect and non interference in internal affairs.
H.E. asked for further cooperation with Kuwait in all fields to serve the interest of the people of the two countries saying that "we are seeking to promote the mutual interest between the two countries"
He also stressed the importance of establishing a fund to reconstruct the destroyed regions in Iraq after being liberated from Daesh.
On his part, H.H. the Prince of Kuwait expressed the readiness of his country to provide full support to Iraq
