
Prime
Minister
and
Commander
in Chief
of the
Armed
Forces
Mr.
Nouri
Al-Maliki
conducted
a field
visit to
Anbar
Province.
During
the
visit he
met with
tribal
leaders
and
dignitaries
in the
province,
he also
inspected
the
military
units
stationed
there in
company
of the
acting
Minister
of
Defense,
the
National
Security
Adviser,
the
Anbar
Governor,
the
Provincial
Council
Chairman,
members
of the
local
government
and a
number
of
officials
and
senior
military
leaders.
The
Prime
Minister
announced
a
comprehensive
plan for
security
and
construction
of the
province
that
long
suffered
from
terrorists.
The
Prime
Minister:
our
victory
in this
crisis,
we will
be
defeating
the
projects
of
sectarian
sedition,
calling
on other
states
to
refrain
from
interfering
in the
affairs
of Iraq,
and
called
on
Iraqis
not to
allow
these
countries
to
interfere
in their
affairs.
The
Prime
Minister
pledged
to
restore
security
and
stability
to the
province,
and
announced
a
comprehensive
reconstruction
plan in
the
cities
and
towns
that
were
devastated
by the
terrorists
or
damaged
by the
military
operations.
The
Prime
Minister
said
that the
government
will
implement
that
plan
immediately
in
coordination
with the
local
government.
He
praised
the
position
and the
efforts
of the
local
government
of Anbar
in this
crisis,
which he
described
as a
responsible
position.
For his
part,
the
Chairman
of the
Provincial
Council
delivered
a speech
in which
he
called
for
defeating
al Qaeda
and
terrorists
and
pointed
to the
initiative
which
included
several
points ,
and
assured
the
Prime
Minister
that he
as an
executive
authority
will
implement
it , and
will
cooperate
with the
officials
in the
legislative
and
judicial
branches
in order
to
achieve
the
demands
that
fall
within
his
jurisdiction
.
Also
number
of
tribal
leaders
and
clerics
delivered
speeches
in which
they
confirmed
the
determination
to
defeat
Daash
and
al-Qaeda
and all
those
who
cooperated
with
them and
pledged
to
defend
the
unity
and
stability
of Iraq
and
reject
foreign
interference
and give
utmost
importance
to
maintain
the
security
and
stability
.
