His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi received Today on Saturday, the ambassadors of U.K., France, and Germany in Baghdad.

In the meeting, they discussed the strengthening of the Mutual relationship between Iraq and these countries, the political situation and support Iraq during the next phase, in addition to the situation in the region.

The ambassadors expressed great satisfaction in the progress of the political development, the government and for His Excellency Prime Minister, where they pointed out that the positive indicators of the new government's ability and steps to promote Iraq, expressing the full commitment of their countries to support Iraq during the next phase.

The ambassadors reaffirmed their countries' commitment to the international agreement on Iran's nuclear program, their support for Iraq in its position and to protect Iraq from sanctions effects.

The ambassadors confirmed of the three European countries desire to work with Iraq, reassured the convergence approach set by the new Iraqi government with the basic tenets of these countries, including Iraq's regional and international balanced positions and seeking to establish good relations with all, Stressing that their countries saw Iraq as an important strategic and economic regional power.

His Excellency Prime Minister Adil Abd Al-Mahdi confirmed Iraq's interest in its relations with the three European countries and its constant cooperation with them at the highest levels and its efforts to strengthen mutual relations in various fields.
Pointing out that the country is on the right path, it is witnessing continuous developments, especially after his victory over the Daesh's terrorist gangs that were threatening the whole World, not just Iraq.
